Happy Saturday Everyone! Thank you so much for stopping by my website to read my blog. I really appreciate it. Don't be shy. I see HOW MANY people visit the site, but I don't know WHO VISITED the site. Reply to my blogs or leave a msg in my Contact Us section, okay? Remeber...I'll give you a shout out.
Well, this has been a really looooong week. You'd think it would be because I'm looking forward to my birthday on the 21st, but that isn't it. After the Atlanta Falcons won their playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday with a last minute field goal, I've had Falcons fever just like the entire city! Tomorrow at 3pm EST, the Falcons will face the San Francisco 49ers. This game is going to be huge. Hopefully I'll have my good luck charm, January, by my side. I realllly want the Falcons to win this game. Super Bowl here we come...I hope.
My wife and I also got back on our Sims 3 grind this week. We LOVE the Sims. All 3 versions. Our long term goal is to get a new computer just so we can put Sims 1, 2 and 3 and all of the expansion packs on it. That's right! Our very own SIMS computer. Nothing more, nothing less.
When we play the Sims, we like to create people that we know or fictional characters. This week, we created the Disney Princesses. Tiana, Pochantas, Jasmine, Ariel, Cinderella and Mulan are sisters in one suburban household and just yesterday we created Snow White (the mooch), Belle and Rapunzel who live in the city. We also created the Dwarvz. Yeah...you can see where this is going. LOL.
Back in the day, we created families based upon characters from Good Times, The Cosby Show and more! Putting our family and friends in the game makes it a lot of fun, too! It's spooky how the game mimics how these people live their lives. Spoooooky. If you'd like to be turned into a Sims 3 character, then let me know. I just need a few details to make your virtual life, lifelike.
My wife, Carmencita, finally finished a long term goal of hers and that was to create her own Black Theatre website. It's called "Color Me Theatre" and it's wonderful! If you are interested in the wonderful world of Black Theatre, then I highly recommend you become a member of the group. Great job baby! To paraphrase Joe Clark, "Take a bow Mrs. Carmencita! You just rewrote THE premiere Black Theatre site!"
Speaking of sites, I'm proud of my facebook group SCANDAL 'Us'! The group is a fine batch of Scandal fans and they represent! We're up to 75 members and almost all of the participate. The is the best place to be when Scandal is on TV! I wonder what we're gonna do next Thursday when the show is a repeat. lol. People are having withdrawal issues already.
In the world of Ruzzle, I've won over 100 games and lost 2 (to the same person). The game is starting to lose its luster because sooo many people are coming at me to take me down. LOL. I can no longer just play for fun. It's all about keeping the winning streak alive (which is at 80plus games). Heavy is the head that wears the crown, huh?
Even though January has several DVDS, I mean DDD's, to choose from, why does this child continue to watch Shrek, Shrek 2 and Shrek 3. Aargh! At least she has great taste in movies.
Every year around my birthday, I like to take advantage of all of the restaurant Birthday specials. Some places give you free Italian food up to $9.99, while others send you coupons in your email. Right now I have Free Dessert coupons if you buy an entree or free entry if you buy an entree. Shoutout to Ruby Tuesday, O'Charley's, Fuddruckers, Titled Kilt, Longhorn, Chili's, Appleby's and Cold Stone for the emails. Ted's Montana Grill is the only place that really loves me because I get a free dessert...no questions asked. Their big ol' Oatmeal Raisin Cookie and Ice Cream is delicious!! I'm still waiting on Benihana to send me my $30 birthday gift certificate so I can get my eat on. Are they gonna wait until the last minute? I'm tryin' to make plans and hit up every restaurant that I can in a 24hr period. LOL.
Last but not least, I would like to thank everyone who watched all 3 of my Family Feud episodes this past week. Episode 1 actually came on last Friday, but 2 and 3 aired on Tuesday and Wednesday. It never fails, more people watch episode 3 than any other episode. I don't know how they miss the other episodes, but for some reason, they'll catch the "NEKKID" episode. lol. I had people that I hadn't heard from in MONTHS hitting me up saying "I see you on Family Feud!" Yup, that's me...The Feud Legend!
I'm out of here. Until next time, Gooooooooooooo Falcons! Rise Up!
